We believe this decorative crucifix dates from around the 1930’s and is made of plaster. It has age related distressing to the off white chalky finish. The muted colour would work effortlessly with any display or interior. It is a great size, has lovely proportions and is in great vintage condition.
Although neither of us are particularly religious, we are both rather drawn to the naive beauty of some antique and vintage religious artefacts. Displayed in the right way they can look intriguing, beautiful and ethereal.
There is a hanging loop at the top so that it can be mounted to the wall.
